Welcome to Treasurable Life, where we don’t run from pain; we learn how to hold it.

Sometimes love isn’t about saving someone, it’s about refusing to leave them

This is a moment most people don’t have words for.

A body that looks tired…
A spirit that looks gone…
And yet

Arms that refuse to let go.

This is what love looks like when it’s tested.

Not the kind of love that’s easy.
Not the kind that smiles for pictures.

This is the kind that stays…
even when everything feels like it’s falling apart.

She holds him not because she’s strong enough to fix it
but because she refuses to abandon him in his brokenness.

And those wings…

They don’t represent perfection.
They represent protection.

Because sometimes being an angel doesn’t mean saving someone…

It means sitting with them in their pain

We don’t talk enough about the weight of being “the strong one.”

The one who holds everybody else together.
The one who shows up, even when they’re tired.
The one who carries pain that no one else sees.

But here’s the truth…

Even the strong ones get heavy.
Even the protectors need covering.
Even the ones with wings…

Feel the storm too.

Don’t Let Me Fall Alone

If I break, don’t turn away,
Don’t let silence have its way.
Sit with me in shattered space,
Don’t rush time, don’t try to replace.

Hold me close when I can’t stand,
Be my shelter, be my hand.
Not to fix what you can’t see,
But to stay… right here with me.

If I fade, if I fall apart,
Don’t be afraid of my heavy heart.
For love is not in what we save
It’s who stays present in the wave.

And if the storm takes all I am,
Still hold me…

as only you can.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2

This kind of love…
this kind of presence…
this kind of holding…

It’s not talked about enough.

Because we live in a world that celebrates strength but avoids vulnerability.
That praises independence, but forgets the power of being there.

So if you’ve ever been the one holding someone else together…
If you’ve ever been the one wiping tears no one saw…
If you’ve ever stayed when it would’ve been easier to walk away…

This is for you.

And if you’ve ever been the one being held
broken, tired, unsure if you’d make it through…

This is for you, too.

Because at the end of the day, life isn’t just about how strong we are alone…

It’s about who we allow to hold us when we can’t carry ourselves anymore.

So don’t run from the hard moments.
Don’t avoid the weight of real connection.

Because sometimes…

The most powerful form of love isn’t loud,
isn’t perfect,
isn’t easy…

It’s simply this:

I’m here. And I’m not going anywhere.

I love the honest emotions here.
It’s giving unforced emotions and speaks directly to the reader/readers. I feel faith, strength & exhaustion from the poem.
Basically no matter what, when love is present you should weather the storm.

A deeply moving and compassionate piece that captures the quiet strength of staying present in someone’s pain. The imagery is powerful—the idea that love is not about fixing, but about not leaving, feels profoundly true.

Your words give voice to those unspoken moments, especially the weight carried by “the strong ones.” The balance of tenderness and honesty makes this both comforting and thought-provoking. A heartfelt reflection that lingers long after reading.
