Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are. – Benjamin Franklin

There comes a moment when we can no longer stay quiet, when silence becomes the only way to honor the truth. Too many lives have been lost, not to war in faraway lands, but right here in our neighborhoods, our streets, our schools, our hospitals, and even in the very systems that were meant to protect us.

This blog is not just words it’s a remembrance, a lament, and a cry for change.

We are losing innocent lives every single day

  • To false judgment, when the world points fingers before it listens.
  • To mental illness left unseen, when cries for help are dismissed as weakness until death becomes the loudest scream.
  • To corruption in uniforms and black robes, when those who vowed to serve and protect become the very reason we mourn.
  • To healthcare systems that fail the vulnerable, letting people slip through the cracks until the cracks turn into graves.

This is not just a tragedy of one city or one country. This is a global wound. It bleeds through headlines, through whispered stories, through tears shed in silence behind closed doors.

Today, I light a candle in remembrance of them. Every mother, father, daughter, son, friend, or stranger whose name the world may never know. This flame represents what we refuse to let be forgotten.

The Unheard

They were more than a case,
more than a number,
more than a body tagged
and filed away under silence.

They were voices unheard,
dreams unfulfilled,
hearts that beat too loudly
for a world that chose to look away.

Now we carry them
in candles, in prayers,
in the rage that demands
we never forget.

So today, I ask you not to scroll past this moment. Pause. Reflect. Imagine if it were your brother, your sister, your child, your friend whose life was stolen too soon.

We cannot heal by pretending the wound is not there. We cannot honor the lost if we remain comfortable in silence. The candle may flicker, but the light of truth will never die.

Let this remembrance not just be a moment of silence, but a call to action. To see the unseen. To speak for the voiceless. To demand accountability where corruption hides. To love louder in a world where hate shouts the loudest.

For every soul taken too soon this silence, this truth, this fight is for you.

Until next time friends, This is Treasurable Life reminding you: Through the shadows comes healing, and through truth comes change.

This is a profoundly moving and powerful piece. 🌟 I deeply appreciate the way you channel both sorrow and urgency into your words, turning them into a call for awareness and action. The combination of Benjamin Franklin’s quote with your heartfelt reflection creates a resonant reminder that justice is a collective responsibility, not a passive hope
