Some connections aren’t broken by distance, betrayal, or silence they fracture, yet the pieces still glow with what was once unshakable.

I am back, my fellow readers, and today I want to speak on something we often hide the fractures between us. We live in a world where we pretend strength means never breaking, where silence becomes the glue that holds us together, even when our souls are splintering. But the truth is, we break every day in love, in friendship, in family, even within ourselves.

This image you see, of two souls bound by light yet separated by shadow, reflects what many of us endure. We love deeply, we give endlessly, yet sometimes that love is met with betrayal, abandonment, or silence that feels heavier than any spoken word. Still, even in the breaking, there is beauty. Even in the fractures, there is light.

Because breaking doesn’t mean the end it means transformation.

Fractures That Still Glow

The weight of silence cuts deeper than words,
Two shadows standing back-to-back,
Pieces of light breaking between them,
Yet neither fully free, neither fully whole.
Love doesn’t always end with goodbye,
Sometimes it lingers in the fractures,
A reminder of what once was,
And what the soul still aches to heal.

So I say this to you: stop pretending you are unbreakable. Stop silencing the pain that cries for release. You may be fractured, but you are not finished. You may be scarred, but you are still radiant.

Let the pieces of your soul tell your story. Let the light that leaks through the cracks remind you that brokenness is not weakness it is proof that you survived what tried to destroy you.

And to anyone standing back-to-back with someone they love but feel distant from, remember this: healing doesn’t always come from holding on tighter. Sometimes, it comes from letting go and allowing the light to guide you back to yourself.

I’m not here to sugarcoat it. This is raw truth. And sometimes, raw truth is the only thing that can set us free.

Psalm 34:18The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
