There comes a time when you stop running from what hunts you. A time when fear no longer dictates your steps. Tonight, I see myself as that woman walking through the depths, surrounded by predators, yet untouched. Every scar tells a story, every wound carries wisdom, and every step forward declares: I survived what was meant to devour me.
Life will always have its sharks the voices that tear, the circumstances that bite, the betrayals that circle close. But there’s a shift that happens when you realize: you are not prey, you are power. You don’t need permission to rise, you don’t need acceptance to fight you simply need to remember who you are.

The Huntress of the Deep
I walked through waters cold and wild,
The sharks encircled, hungry, riled.
Yet with each step, the sea obeyed,
For strength within me never swayed.
Their teeth may glisten, sharp with threat,
But I’ve endured what they forget.
A queen, a warrior, spirit untamed,
I wear my fire, I hold no shame.
The ocean bowed, the darkness fled,
For I am life where fear plays dead.
Through storm, through depths, I found my breath,
And conquered shadows dressed in death.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you.– Isaiah 43:2
Tonight, I don’t just see survival I see rebirth. I see the version of me that refused to drown, the me that fought through currents designed to break me. The sharks are still there, circling, waiting, testing. But I walk forward anyway, because fear has no home in a heart set on destiny.
So to my readers whatever sharks surround you, remember this: you were never called to cower. You were called to walk through the deep with fire in your eyes and victory in your stride. Keep walking. Keep fighting. The ocean will part for those who know their worth.
Until next time, may you rise in power and walk fearless through your waters.
