No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love.” – Nelson Mandela

They want us to believe racism only wears one face, only targets one people, only shows up in one place. But the truth? Racism is a shapeshifter. It hides behind skin color, culture, class, and even religion. It thrives in silence, in systems, in everyday conversations where we laugh off what cut us deep.

People try to hide this truth because naming it makes them uncomfortable. But silence is complicity. Racism isn’t just Black vs. White it’s Asian hate, it’s prejudice against Latinos, it’s slurs against Native communities, it’s religious intolerance, it’s classism masked as superiority. It’s every form of oppression that tells one group they are “less than.”

And here’s the raw truth: we only like to talk about racism when it’s convenient, when it fits into a headline or a hashtag. But I’m not here for convenience. I’m here for truth.

Many Faces, One Wound

Racism doesn’t wear one shade,
It shifts its mask, it changes trade.
In every tongue, in every land,
It builds its walls, it takes its stand.

But truth will rise, it will not bend,
Because love and justice have no end.
Expose the lie, refuse the game,
Racism wears a thousand names.

There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. – Galatians 3:28

This is my stand: racism in all its forms must be called out. It doesn’t matter the color, the culture, or the creed it poisons the human soul the same. If we only fight one form of racism and ignore the rest, we’re not fighting for justice, we’re fighting for convenience.

Treasurable Life has always been about raw, honest truth and the truth is this: racism is everywhere, but silence is unacceptable. I will be your voice.
