Scars are not signs of weakness, they are proof that the darkness couldn’t kill your light.- Treasurable Life
Life has a way of dragging us into tunnels we never asked to walk through. Some of us wake up every day carrying burdens nobody can see pain hidden behind a smile, memories that ache like fresh wounds, fears that creep in when the lights go out. Darkness doesn’t always look like night; sometimes it looks like depression, heartbreak, betrayal, sickness, or the heaviness of just trying to survive another day.
But here’s the truth: the fact that you’re still here means the darkness hasn’t won.
We live in a world that glorifies strength but silences suffering. We’re told to get over it, move on, or be tougher than what broke us. But the raw truth is some battles feel too heavy to fight. And yet, even in the deepest pit, there is always a flicker of light.
No matter what surrounds you, the darkness doesn’t get the last word.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. – John 1:5

The Lantern Within
By: Treasurable Life
In tunnels deep, where shadows creep,
I learned that silence still can weep.
Yet in my chest, a flame held fast,
A whisper said, “This too shall pass.”
The dark pressed in, it tried to stay,
But light kept breaking through the clay.
For even when the night is long,
The soul remembers I am strong.
Everyday life will test you. Bills stack up, relationships fracture, health fails, and grief finds us when we least expect it. But don’t you dare forget you are not walking alone in that tunnel. Sometimes the lantern you’re looking for is the one glowing inside of you.
So today, don’t curse the darkness. Instead, carry your light. Because whether the world admits it or not you are living proof that the shadows can’t win.
This is Treasurable Life, where silence is unacceptable and truth is our voice.
