The doorway to your next chapter will never open until you decide you are worthy to walk through it.- Treasurable Life.

There are moments in life when we find ourselves standing at the threshold between what was and what will be. Between staying where it feels safe and stepping toward the unknown.

In this image, I see a woman in her strength, clothed not just in fabric but in dignity. She stands still, yet her spirit leans forward. The figure on the path distant, shadowed, represents everything unanswered. Is it love? Is it a loss? Is it the future calling?

Life will always place us at this doorway. Sometimes the hardest decision is not about what lies ahead it’s about deciding if we’re ready to walk toward it.

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it. — Isaiah 30:21

Doorways

I stood at the edge of my yesterday,
Wrapped in the comfort of what I knew.
But the forest whispered a different song,
A promise painted in shades of new.

Do I wait? Do I go? Do I dare?
The silence pressed heavily on my chest.
Yet I knew
Even the stillness was a choice,
And sometimes, waiting speaks louder than steps.

If you are standing at a doorway in your life right now, staring into the unknown, I want you to hear this: you are not weak for pausing. You are not broken for hesitating. And you are not lost for questioning the road ahead.

Doorways are sacred. They are the spaces where we gather our courage, where we breathe before the leap, where we shed the weight of what no longer serves us. Don’t rush the doorway, learn from it. But don’t stay there forever either, because the path will not wait for you to be ready.

At some point, you must decide: do I remain where I am, or do I step into who I am becoming?

The forest of life is never predictable, but it is always alive with possibility. And maybe, just maybe, that figure in the distance whether it’s a person, a dream, or a version of yourself isn’t waiting to be found. Maybe they’re waiting for you to rise and walk toward them.

So, when life places you at the threshold, don’t just stand in the doorway of your destiny. Open it wide and walk through.

Until next time, friends. This is Treasurable Life reminding you that the doorway is not the end, but the beginning of everything you’ve been waiting for.
