Listen, let me start this with power. I told you I wasn’t done, and I meant it. I’m coming back tonight with something raw, something real, something that you can’t just scroll past. This is After Talk with Treasurable Life, and we’re diving headfirst into the fire.

Look at this image of two warriors, heads pressed together, dirt on their skin, scars on their bodies, but light still radiating from within. That glow? That’s the reminder that even in the dirtiest, darkest battles of life, you don’t lose your fire. The world can strip you down, drag you through mud, and laugh at your brokenness but baby, your light cannot be stolen.

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. — John 1:5

How many times have you been down like this? Knees on the ground, back heavy, spirit tired. How many nights did you whisper to God, “I can’t take any more?” But somehow, you’re still here. Not perfect. Not untouched. But glowing, because scars don’t erase your worth, they prove your survival.

That fire on their arms isn’t just pretty art it’s symbolic. That glow is the kind of strength only forged in pain. It’s the power you earn when you’ve been through hell and back and still refuse to bow to defeat.

Still Burning

Battered knees, a weary soul,
But broken pieces still make me whole.
Ashes cling, the night is long,
But in my chest still beats the strong.

Light on skin, scars in sight,
I am proof that the dark can’t kill my light.
Bruised but breathing, I stand, I fight,
Even broken, I still burn bright.

Here’s the truth nobody wants to say out loud: we live in a world that romanticizes perfection but fears raw survival. People want to see the glow but not the grind. They want your highlight reel, not your midnight prayers. But that’s where your power lies, not in the fake smiles, but in the dirt, the grit, the nights you almost gave up.

Though he slays me, yet will I trust in him. — Job 13:15

That scripture? That’s the kind of faith it takes when life keeps throwing punches. When you’re pressed to the ground but still manage to lift your head and say, “I’m still here. I still got light in me.”

So tonight, take this with you: You don’t have to be untouched to be worthy. You don’t have to be spotless to shine. You can be bruised, scarred, exhausted, and still burn so bright that darkness trembles when you walk in the room.

This is Treasurable Life, telling you with fire in my words, no matter how heavy it gets, no matter how broken you feel, your light is unshakable, and your glow cannot be dimmed.

Until next time, friends, remember this: Even broken, you are still burning.

You’re so welcome 💛 I’m truly grateful that these words reached you right when you needed them. Life can feel heavy, and I know those battles don’t always show on the outside. Just remember, even in the middle of “a lot,” your light is still burning, and that’s something no storm can put out. Stay encouraged, stay true to yourself, and know you are not walking through this alone.

With love & truth, Treasurable Life
