The same heat that tried to destroy you became the warmth that brought you home.Treasurable Life

But fire is not the end of the story.
What survives the flames deserves to rest, to be nurtured, to grow in peace. That is the beauty of the second image a newborn resting in the cradle of a broken shell, nestled in softness, surrounded by life.

The crack in the shell is not destruction it’s the beginning. It’s proof that what was once hidden has now emerged. That what was carried through fire has been delivered into the world.

We often think survival means staying hard, always ready for battle. But survival also means knowing when to lay down your sword, when to protect the fragile thing you fought so hard for.

Carried Through the Flames

I walked through flames with trembling hands,
Carrying dreams the world couldn’t see.
The fire burned, but could not claim
The life that was meant to be.

Now in the quiet, the feathers fall,
A nest awaits where battles cease.
What was once fought for in the fire
Now rests in the arms of peace.

He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.Psalm 91:4

The truth is, life is a cycle of fire and nests. There will be seasons when you’re in the heat, carrying something precious through storms that threaten to destroy it. And there will be seasons when you finally set it down, watching it breathe, grow, and take its place in the world.

The world loves to celebrate the nest the beauty, the peace, the life that emerges. But do not forget the fire. Without the fire, there would be no strength to protect the nest. Without the battle, there would be no victory to cradle.

So if you are in the fire right now keep going. If you are holding your “nest moment” right now protect it fiercely. Both are sacred. Both are Treasurable Life.

Because in the end, you are not just a survivor of flames. You are the fire.
And you are the life it carried.
