Joy is the only currency that grows richer the more you spend it. – Treasurable Life

Daily writing prompt
If you were going to open up a shop, what would you sell?

If I ever opened a shop, it wouldn’t be about things you can hold in your hands it would be about what you can feel in your soul. My shelves wouldn’t be lined with gadgets or glitter. They’d be overflowing with laughter. The kind of laughter you see right here the belly-deep, eyes-sparkling, teeth-showing kind that makes your heart lighter just by being near it.

In my shop, every purchase would come with a story. The sound of children’s joy would be the soundtrack. The scent of hope would be in the air. You could walk in carrying the weight of the world, and leave carrying nothing but a smile.

I’d sell reminders of what we forget too easily that joy is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. That life’s sweetest moments don’t cost a dime, and that happiness, when shared, multiplies like sunlight on a winter morning.

So yes, if I opened a shop, I’d sell joy by the bag, the box, and the bucket. And if you couldn’t afford it? I’d give it away because a world without joy is already too expensive.

Currency of the Heart”
If joy could be bottled, I’d line it on my wall,
Every laugh, every giggle, I’d answer the call.
No barcode, no scanner, no sales receipt,
Just the sound of pure love in every heartbeat.

The shop I dream of can exist anywhere in a conversation, in a shared meal, in a random act of kindness. You don’t need a storefront to sell joy. You just need a heart willing to give it away.
