My peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. — John 14:27
Hey y’all. Let’s slow it down for a second.

Life’s been loud and I know I’ve been M.I.A. again (yes, nurse life, wife life, mom life, school life… pick one or take them all). But this picture right here? This moment? It brought me back to center, and it might just do the same for you.
Me and my baby girl. Sitting in silence. Breathing. Existing.
The sun’s rising or maybe it’s setting, either way, we’re present. No phones. No chaos. Just peace.
The Truth Is…
Peace doesn’t just show up. You gotta protect it.
Too many of us are out here chasing paychecks, applause, approval, but can’t remember the last time we sat with ourselves… or taught our kids how to sit with theirs.
And don’t get it twisted, this isn’t just some cute moment for Instagram. This is sacred work. Legacy work.
Because how I ground myself… is how she’ll learn to ground herself.
Peace Is Generational.
We pass down trauma, but we can pass down healing, too.
We pass down hustle, but we can pass down stillness.
We pass down prayers, but we can pass down presence.
And listen, it’s not about being perfect. I’m not out here doing sunrise yoga every day. Sometimes I’m crawling through the day on coffee and willpower. But I’m learning and I’m teaching her while I do.
You are allowed to rest.
You are allowed to say no to noise.
You are allowed to center yourself in a world that profits off your disconnection.

And if nobody’s told you lately: you deserve peace that doesn’t need permission.
Until next time, breathe deep, love louder, and choose your peace like your child’s watching… because they are.
This is Treasurable Life, where I bring it to you raw, stay aware, and always give you the honest truth.
