I wasn’t drowning. I was transforming. The storm didn’t take me under. It baptized me.

Let’s talk about it…

There are moments when life doesn’t just press us, it submerges us.

Moments when the world goes black, and all you can hear is the thunder of your own heartbeat echoing against pressure you can’t explain. You ain’t crying out for help anymore. You’re quiet now. Not because you gave up. But because something inside you decided to rise in a different way.

That’s what this image says.

This ain’t just a man in water.
This is the storm meeting the surrender.
This is every brother who’s been told he had to be strong but never got shown how.
Every man who loved hard but had no space to heal was soft.
Every son who became a protector, before he ever got protected.

And in that red moon? That’s war.
That’s blood.
That’s rebirth.

They only see the surface. They never ask about the weight you carry under it.

Have you ever sat with your eyes closed because it’s the only way you can find peace?
Ever feel like the world keeps watching you fight, but nobody jumps in?
This water, this darkness, it doesn’t take you out.
It teaches you.
It reshapes you.

That red moon behind him ain’t a coincidence. It’s cosmic.
It’s God saying, “I’m not done with you.”
You’re being made new.

Baptized in the Storm

I sat still in the storm
Not because I was calm
But because I was choosing
Not to run.

The blood moon knew my name.
And the waves didn’t drown me.
They baptized me
In truth, in fire, in purpose.

Let the world see the sweat
Not the tears I didn’t cry.
Let the world feel the glow
Of a soul that learned to survive.

Message to My Kings (and the women who love them): Stop waiting for the world to save you.
Ain’t nobody coming.
But that doesn’t mean you’re alone.

Healing is ugly. Transformation is violent. But glory?
Glory is what happens when the storm bows to your survival.

So let that moon bleed.
Let those waves crash.
You’re not a victim of your pain you’re the damn prophecy.

Ready to rise? Or still afraid to feel?
Because one thing is for sure… silence won’t save you.
But surrender? That’s where resurrection begins.

WOW! What a powerful message! Love this segue: “The storm didn’t take me under. It baptized me.” Oh and this:

“Stop waiting for the world to save you.
    Ain’t nobody coming.
But that doesn’t mean you’re alone.

    Spot on and real! 🙏🏼💖🥰
