Treasurable Life: Vintage Soul, Modern Clockwork
Old souls don’t just survive the ages. They run the damn timeline.- Treasurable Life

Have you ever stopped to think about the oldest thing you use every single day?
For some, it’s a cast-iron skillet or an attitude problem, but for me?
It’s time. Not just the clock on the wall, but the way I wear it, feel it, move through it.
Look at this picture.
She ain’t just posing, she’s commanding every second. Surrounded by gears, dials, and antique brass, she’s not overwhelmed by time. She owns it. She’s the Timekeeper, the architect of her every minute. And baby, that’s a whole mood.
Let’s be honest:
We’re taught to race against time.
To anti-age. To beat the clock.
But what if you didn’t?
What if you used time like the powerful tool it is?
Not something to fear but something to master?
The oldest thing I use every day is my past. Yep. All of it.
The scars. The late-night decisions. The missed chances.
But also the wisdom. The softness. The bold-ass moments where I dared to speak when they told me to be quiet.
That version of me is always ticking in the background like a grandfather clock that don’t run out of rhythm, just makes the room feel grounded.
I don’t hide her anymore.
I dress her up in leather and lace, brass buttons and corsets. I give her space at the table. I let her adjust the gears and whisper,
“You’ve got time. But don’t waste it trying to be anyone else.”
the clocktower of my soul:
I don’t wear time,
I wield it.
Not tick-tock
But boom, boom, boom.
My heart is syncing with minutes
I refuse to surrender.
The past ain’t baggage
It’s blueprints.
And this body?
A living time machine
That still slays
In gears and grace.
To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven. — Ecclesiastes 3:1
So the next time you’re chasing the future or haunted by your past, remember this:
You’re not late.
You’re not early.
You are the moment.
Antique soul. Modern grind.
Until next time,
Let the world turn, but you? Stay in your divine rhythm.
