Loving your body and taking care of your body are not enemies. You can choose both. You deserve both.Take care of your body, not to meet their standards, but to meet your next season whole, healthy, and FREE.- Treasurable Life
Let’s talk about the part people don’t say out loud:
Weight can hurt… physically, mentally, emotionally.
But what hurts more? The shame.
The stares. The self-hate.
The silence.
We live in a world that mocks bigger bodies but sells us oversized portions, feeds us stress, trauma, and unrealistic beauty standards, and then has the nerve to judge us for how we carry the weight of it all.

Let’s be clear:
This ain’t about glorifying unhealthy living.
And it sure as hell ain’t about shrinking to please a broken society.
This is about truth.
Truth: Carrying extra weight doesn’t make you less lovable.
Truth: Losing weight doesn’t automatically mean you’re healed.
Truth: Wanting to be healthier does NOT mean you hate your body, it means you honor it.
We’re done with the extremes:
Starving to feel “enough”
Overeating to numb
Hiding our bodies like shame lives in our skin
We’re choosing the middle ground where grace and growth live.
We’re not punishing ourselves into smaller bodies.
We’re caring for ourselves into stronger, freer ones.
Dear Body, I’m Listening Now
I’m sorry for starving you, then feeding you pain,
For dressing you in silence, then cursing your name.
But I’m here now raw, real, and ready to heal,
Not to fix you for others, but to feel what’s real.
To sweat in your honor, to rest when you’re tired,
To see you as sacred, not broken or expired.
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit… You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies.”
— 1 Corinthians 6:19 20
Whether you’re thick, curvy, heavy, round, soft, or swollen with stress, grief, or genetics
Your body is not your enemy.
It’s your history, your home, your protector.
And now?
It’s time to make peace.
That means honor it with what you eat.
Honor it with how you move.
Honor it with rest.
And above all with love.
This blog is for the ones who feel embarrassed to go to the gym.
The ones who avoid full-body mirrors.
The ones who wear black to hide in the background.
The ones who keep saying “I’ll start Monday,” but are really just scared to face the scale and the judgment.
Guess what?
You don’t owe the world skinny.
You owe YOURSELF health.
You owe YOURSELF joy.
You owe YOURSELF the chance to live full, not just in body, but in purpose.
