Heavy is the head that wears the crown, but heavier is the soul that carries the silence.— Treasurable Life

Let’s talk about it raw, real, and respectfully.
Welcome back to Treasurable Life,
where we don’t just write blogs… we break chains.
And today, this one is for the MEN.
Yes you kings, warriors, protectors, fathers, brothers, builders, believers.
But also the ones who’ve been quietly breaking under the weight of it all.
Look at him.
Eyes closed, head bowed, not in defeat, but in deep reflection.
A storm of power surging down the center of his being, lightning striking straight from the heavens into his crown.
Behind him? A burning halo. Not angelic. Ancient.
This man ain’t weak.
He’s weathered.
He carries generations in his stare,
battles in his beard,
and legacies in his silence.
But don’t be fooled.
Just because he’s strong doesn’t mean he hasn’t suffered.
Just because he’s quiet doesn’t mean he isn’t screaming inside.
Proverbs 20:5 – “The purposes of a man’s heart are deep waters, but a man of understanding draws them out.”
Let’s Get Into the Real:
This image ain’t just art.
It’s every man who’s been told to “man up” instead of “open up.”
It’s every boy who was told “don’t cry” before he was taught how to cope.
It’s every husband expected to lead when he was never allowed to grieve.
It’s every father trying to be present while still healing from a past that left him broken.

And society?
Wants him to provide without pause.
Lead without fail.
Protect without rest.
And still, smile through the pain.
But today we say: ENOUGH.
Because real kings cry.
Real men feel.
Real leaders fall down and still get back up bloody, bruised, but not broken.
To the Man Who Carries Thunder
You wear storms in your silence,
Lightning in your stare,
A world on your shoulders,
But they act like it’s air.
They want your strength,
But not your scars,
They want your shine,
But not your dark.
Yet through the fire,
Through every blow,
You rise like sunrise,
With a spirit they’ll never know.
Let’s Bring the Awareness:
Mental health in men is a war we’ve ignored too long.
Black men. Young men. Old men. Working men. Good men.
You deserve healing.
You deserve a safe space.
You deserve to feel not just function.
So to the king reading this…
You are not alone.
Your crown is real.
But so is your pain.
Let this blog be your permission to stop holding it in.
Now Fellas, Tell Me This:
When’s the last time someone asked how you were really doing and meant it?
Leave a comment. Share this with a brother. Start the conversation.
Because strength isn’t just about standing tall.
It’s also about knowing when to sit down, breathe, cry, pray… and heal.
Until next time,
Let’s keep it Treasurable. Loud. Safe. Sacred.
For our men.
For our minds.
For our healing.
