Let’s talk about it with Treasurable Life..
She remembered who she was and the game changed.” — Lalah Delia

Let’s get into it, raw and unfiltered. Welcome to another Treasurable Talk.
But today, don’t just sip your tea feel the flames.
If I had to change my name?
Baby, call me Unique.
Because I was never born to blend in. I was born to blaze.
Look at her.
A ballerina in red, floating in a hall of destruction.
Everything around her is burning.
But she’s not consumed, she’s commanding the flames.
Her tutu? Flames.
Her crown? Confidence.
Her posture? Pain turned into poise.
This is the story of so many of us.
We’ve danced in the middle of chaos.
We’ve pirouetted through trauma.
We’ve held our heads high in rooms that tried to burn us down.
And still we didn’t crumble. We choreographed courage.
Call Me Unique
Don’t call me broken,
Call me brave.
I was forged in fire,
Not born to behave.
My name ain’t a label,
It’s a legacy I claim,
A symphony of survival,
With a soul that won’t tame.
I’ve been ash and ember,
I’ve been light and dark,
Now I dance through ruins,
With fire in my heart.
Isaiah 43:2 – When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you
Let’s Talk:
So if I had to change my name, I’d make it a declaration.
Not just a word you call me, but a reflection of who I’ve become.
Unique is not about being different for attention.
It’s about being authentic through intention.
You see, names carry power. They carry stories. They carry scars and survival.
And for every woman out there dancing through the flames of heartbreak,
healing, identity, grief, love, rebirth
I see you.
You are not what burned you.
You are what rose from it.
Now It’s Your Turn:
If you could change your name…
Would you choose something soft, something fierce, something sacred?
Drop your new name in the comments. Tell me what it means.
Let’s honor the parts of us we had to fight to reclaim.
Until next time,
Let’s keep it Treasurable, let’s keep it honest, let’s keep it blazing.
