Itβs Friday Talk with Treasurable Life
You know youβre doing something right when youβve got critics and copycats. β Treasurable Life
Letβs be real, this week probably tried it.
People had something to say, something to whisper, something to assume.
But guess what? Youβre still standing. And not only that, youβre smilingβ¦ kind of like that donkey in the picture (okay, maybe not exactly, but humor me here).
The image says:
“People talk about me behind my back, and I just sit here like: DAMN, I got myself a fan club.”
And honestly? Thatβs a whole mood.

The Humor Behind the Hurt
Yes, the donkey looks ridiculous with its overly large smile and sideways glance but thatβs exactly the point. Sometimes, the best way to deal with peopleβs nonsense is to laugh. Because the moment you stop caring about what they say behind your back is the moment you start walking in your power.
Hereβs the raw truth:
People will always talk. Theyβll talk if youβre winning. Theyβll talk if youβre healing. Theyβll talk if youβre silent. Theyβll talk if you speak up. So why not give them a good show?
People donβt talk about irrelevant things. So if theyβre talking about youβ¦
Congratulations. You must be doing something worth noticing.
But hereβs what weβre not going to do:
- Shrink ourselves to make others comfortable.
- Beg for understanding from people committed to misunderstanding us.
- Let whispers behind our backs silence the roar in our spirits.
Fan Club
They whisper, they wonder,
They throw little stones.
But I built my house
Out of courage and bones.
They laugh at my scars,
Yet mimic my style.
They shade from afar,
But copy my smile.
So Iβll sip on my tea
While they speak my name,
‘Cause you donβt earn a spotlight
Without sparking some flame.
No weapon formed against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,β declares the Lord.- Isaiah 54:17 (NIV)
This blog isnβt just about laughs. Itβs about resilience.
We laugh because weβve cried.
We joke because weβve been judged.
But now? Now we own our narrative.
So next time they talk behind your back, smile wide like that donkey and say:
βThanks for the support, didnβt know I had fans like that.β
Drop a ππΎ in the comments if you’ve learned to laugh and level up.
Tag someone whoβs been talked aboutβ¦ but never knocked down.
Because over here at Treasurable Life, we donβt just survive the gossip, we turn it into glory.

Let the weekend begin.
