Tuesday After Dark: God Made Me Dangerous: Soft Enough to Love, Wild Enough to Burn
A woman in her pleasure is a woman in her power.โ โ Tracee Stanley
Welcome to Tuesday After Dark with Treasurable Life, where we uncover more than just flesh; we find our truth. Unfiltered. Unapologetic. Unashamed. Tonight, we talk about the kind of woman they feared, the one who walks through fire and doesn’t burn.
This isnโt just a blog, itโs a full-body awakening. A love letter to the woman who was told her power was too loud, her walk too bold, her body too much.
Tonight, weโre talking sex, sensuality, survival, and the sacred fire of a woman who refuses to be silenced.
She is Fire in Human Form
Look at her. No, really, see her.
A Black goddess with hair like flames, feet stepping over molten lava, a dress that flows like the spirit of vengeance and rebirth.
Sheโs not afraid of the fire. She is the fire. And she’s finally done pretending to be anything else.
This isnโt just a picture, itโs a sermon. A visual prophecy of a woman whoโs healed her shame and weaponized her sensuality.
The Lie They Fed Us
They told us being โholyโ meant shrinking. That sensuality was sin. That our hips were traps, our lips too inviting, our pleasure a problem.
So we shrank. We dimmed our light, zipped up our dresses, and tried to make our brilliance bite-sized.
But here’s the truth they never wanted you to know:
You can love God and love your body. You can speak in tongues and moan in pleasure. You can be sacred and sensual at the same damn time.
Real Talk: Sex Isnโt the Sin, Silence Is
Your body is not your enemy. Your desire is not your downfall. Itโs the unspoken trauma, the unaddressed touch, the unhealed silence thatโs killing us slowly.
How many of us were introduced to sex through pain, not passion? Through violence, not love?
And now weโre walking around with stories in our skin, afraid to tell the truth because we donโt want to be labeled โtoo sexual,โ โtoo loud,โ or โtoo broken.โ
But babyโฆ There is healing in your howl. There is resurrection in your release.
Untamed Again
She danced barefoot on lava Like it owed her a thank you. Every step said, โI remember who I was before they told me to sit still.โ
โShe is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.โ โ Proverbs 31:25
They quoted this to shame us into submission. But they forgot that strength and dignity are not silence and submission. Sometimes, dignity is walking out of abuse. Sometimes, strength is loving your own body out loud.
You are not โtoo much.โ You are exactly enough to shift the room, shatter their systems, and resurrect your own damn self.
If you’re waiting for permission to be powerful, sexy, sacred, and whole, this is it.
Wear the red dress. Send the text. Speak the truth. Tell the story. Touch yourself without shame. Pray without guilt. Uncross your legs and let freedom flow.
This platform isnโt about looking healed. Itโs about getting free.
Treasurable Life, my Truth. So every Tuesday After Dark, I show up for the woman who has survived hell and still dares to love herself like heaven.
This isnโt about followers, itโs about freedom. Not about being liked but being lit from within.
If this stirred something in you, donโt ignore it. Let it burn through what no longer serves you.
And next Tuesday? We go even deeper into the taboo, the sacred, and the parts of us weโre finally ready to reclaim.
Because you werenโt born to play small. You were born to burn systems, not bridges.
Treasured by the Storm is a healing space dedicated in loving memory of my mother. Created by Latonia, this blog shares stories of strength, loss, healing, and hope.
Through writing, I turn pain into purpose and memories into meaning. This space is for anyone learning to heal, grow, and keep going through lifeโs storms.
Her memory lives here in every word, every story, and every step forward.
Whew, yes!! I felt that you felt it! ๐๐พ Thank you so much for sitting with those words and letting them resonate. Sometimes the howl is the healing and the release is the rebirth. Grateful that it spoke to you. Weโre in this journey together. ๐
