Time doesn’t lie. But it does run out. Live like you know that

Good morning, y’all.

Pull up a chair, pour that coffee or tea, and let’s talk. Not that surface talk. Not the small talk. I’m talkin’ that deep soul talk. That “you might squirm a little but you needed to hear it” talk.

Because this morning, we’re talkin’ about something we all keep trying to manipulate, stretch, or ignore…

Time. Let me say it straight
Time ain’t your friend, baby, if you don’t respect it.

Let’s Get Real Real

We always say:
“I’m gonna do it later.”
“When I have more time, I’ll work on myself.”
“When I feel better, I’ll chase that dream.”
“When I get through this storm, then I’ll start living.”

But listen to me…
Later is a lie that’s stolen more dreams than failure ever could.

Time doesn’t hit rewind.
It doesn’t stop for your heartbreak.
It doesn’t pause for your fear.
It doesn’t care if you’re tired, broke, mad, or misunderstood.

Time just keeps ticking.

Truth You Might Not Like

You’re not too busy.
You’re misaligned.
You’re avoiding what you know you’re supposed to do with the time you’ve been gifted.

You can’t blame the clock when you keep wasting your minutes on people who ain’t worth seconds.
On habits that drain you.
On conversations that go nowhere.
On scrolling instead of showing up for your own life.

Yeah… I said it. Because I love you enough to say it.

“So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
Psalm 90:12

That’s not about fear. That’s about focus.
If you knew you only had 30 days left, how differently would you live?
What would you stop tolerating?
What would you finally start doing?

You say you want better, but where’s your time going?
You say you’re about healing, but when’s the last time you sat still and faced your wounds?
You say you want love, but are you making space for it? Or still stuck in the cycle with people who don’t even value your energy?

I’m not here to drag you. I’m here to wake you up.
Because I see you. I am you.

We’ve all wasted time, but the key is: don’t keep doing it once you’re aware.

Use your time as if it were holy.
Because it is.

✨ Your Saturday Morning Encouragement:

  • Start that project.
  • Make that phone call.
  • Forgive that pain.
  • Leave that situation.
  • Stop performing. Start becoming.

And do it now.
Not Monday.
Not next year.
NOW.

That’s your truth sip for today, fam.
Breathe it in. Let it settle. Then go live on purpose.

You deserve a life that feels like yours, not one built around everyone else’s timeline.

☕️ Until next talk,
With love, Treasurable Life

Thank you so much, Mike. You’re absolutely right we often move through life thinking there’s always more time, until we realize how precious and fleeting it really is. That truth has shaped so much of my journey and writing.

I truly appreciate your feedback and kind words. It means a lot to know the piece resonated with you. 💛
