—A Book That Begins Where Most People Stop Talking—
Not all stories begin with sunshine.

Some begin in shadows.
Some begin in the backseat of a car stuffed with more fear than belongings.
Some begin in cities that look promising on the outside but echo with pain behind closed doors.
Some begin in shelters that smell of anxiety and lose hope.
Mine did.
That’s where my upcoming book, Treasurable Life, begins.
It’s not your typical memoir. It’s not polished perfection wrapped in a pretty bow. It’s real. It’s raw. It’s the truth, I spent years too afraid to write down until I realized silence was protecting the wrong things. This is the story I wish someone had handed me when I was younger, scared, and searching for a sign that I wasn’t the only one.
A Peek Inside the Book Treasurable Life is divided into four parts, each one a chapter of my becoming.
Part One: The Early Struggles
This is the part of the story where everything feels too hard, too fast. Where pain comes before language. Where survival becomes a full-time job.
Chapters like “The Devil at the Door” and “When the Sky Fell” will take you to the places I swore I’d forget but now know I must remember, if healing is ever going to be real.
Part Two: Searching for Light
Here’s where hope starts to whisper. Not loudly. Not confidently. But enough.
“The Day My Silence Spoke” might be one of the most important chapters in the entire book. Because for the first time, I stopped protecting the things that hurt me.
Part Three: Secrets and Healing
The things I kept quiet.
The truths I buried and the unlearning that had to happen before I could move forward.
“The Secret That Could Have Saved Me” still brings tears to my eyes. Not just because of what happened, but because I know I’m not the only one.
Part Four: Grace and Calling
This is where it all starts to make sense.
Not all at once. But enough to keep going.
“When a Cry Becomes a Calling” reminds me every day why I wrote this book in the first place.
And then, there’s the Epilogue: I Am Still Becoming.
Because I am.
And maybe, so are you.
Why I Wrote Treasurable Life: Because silence protects shame.
Because too many of us were never handed the tools to heal.
Because someone has to say it first, and maybe that someone is me.
If you’ve ever:
- Held pain in your chest and smiled anyway
- Hid your story out of fear that people wouldn’t understand
- Wondered if your past disqualified you from peace
Then this book is for you.
What Happens Next? I want to take you on this journey, not just hand you a book when it’s done.
So, every week, I’ll be:
- Dropping reflections here on the blog
- Letting you peek behind the scenes of writing a book that almost didn’t happen
There’s no fluff here.
Just raw truth.
And healing.
And a path forward.
