Welcome to the Circle!

Just getting in from a long day at work, shoes off, and my brain somewhere between “what’s for dinner?” and “please, not emails again.” Usually, I decompress with music in the car, singing like Beyoncé’s less-coordinated cousin. But today? I was so thrilled to escape the workplace madness that I forgot to buy the chicken.
I walked into the house to apologize to my taste buds until I smelled fried pork chops, veggies, and something suspiciously chocolate. The man of the house (bless him and his slightly chaotic love language) said,
“You work hard; I’ve got you. Sit down and eat.”
Now he knows I’m on a diet, but I was grateful. Because sometimes healing looks like laughter over a plate of “off-limits” food. Sometimes joy shows up in unexpected calories.
Here in Talk Time, we’re building more than a blog, we’re building a community. A place where writers can come together, share their truth, laugh through the chaos, and walk away feeling seen.
We’ll talk about the craft of writing, the art of healing, the importance of being heard, and yes, sometimes, we’ll talk about food, too.
So, grab your pen, your tea, or your plate of pork chops (no judgment), and join the circle.
📖 Quote of the Week:
“Laughter is the shock absorber that eases the blows of life.”
📜 Scripture for the Soul:
Proverbs 17:22 – “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”
Now it’s your turn
